I\'ve just stayed at the Ivy Dene and would not recommend it. I\'d asked for a double room but was given a twin (would have booked elsewhere if I\'d been told this). The room was on the ground floor next to the front door/reception area and the breakfast room, so it was quite noisy in the morning. Finally, the male guesthouse owner knocked loudly on our door at 11am and rudely asked, \'Are you two up yet?\' To our response that we were checking out at 12, he exclaimed, \'Bloody hell!\' - not the kind of wake-up call you expect from any guesthouse....
